This is another book that I bought from Left Bank Books, another precious one still in it’s protective cover. I think the subject of this book by Halsman is genius, capturing groups of people eg. Politicians and authors mid jump. During lockdown I actually scanned in the pages and made collages of the subjects in flight over fields, city scapes and the sky. I was obviously feeling trapped and longing to travel again, what I made was really quite bad but it was a nice process all the same!
