As the title suggests, this newsletter is a little overdue but here it is – It’s Taylor, a Sydney based upcoming model we did a test shoot with for some new images for her model board. We shot this story with Bowen in his studio in Alexandria in Sydney, under a lot of lighting for the bright flash photography effect, something I’ve been wanting to experiment with against the metals, lurex and lace materials as shown in the garments and finishes. Stylist, Mercedes (who also modelled for Pantalon) dressed her in a mix of both of our current and vintage wardrobes plus a little Pantalon for good measure. Skirts as tops and singlets as skirts as you can do for a photoshoot where no function is required. 

Seeing Pantalon styled here by Mercedes reminds me of how much I love when pieces can worn as separates with what you currently have in your wardrobe, sometimes It’s just one element that needs replacing for the outfit to feel fresh again. I hope this can be a reminder that everything currently in your wardrobe can be pulled out, refreshed, and made to look interesting again.
