In addition to crimson red for Pantalon’s next release - Issue 3 we’ve also chosen a classic fuchsia shade. The Pantone Colour of the Year in 2001, and a natural pairing against crimson and black for a classic approach with a bit of grit. Fuschia of course has an elegance to it but also a toughness; the attitude that reflects the Pantalon woman. Below, Pantalon’s visual researcher, Giulia Lanaro and I reference social pages and runway images from the early 2000s alongside nature to develop our sense of the shade. We both agree a bare face is the perfect last touch and accompaniment. Enjoy a fresh perspective.
